Areas of Medical Practice As
a family physician I was trained broadly in obstetrics, gynecology,
pediatrics, adult internal medicine, surgery, psychiatry, and community
medicine. I soon learned, though, that people are much more complex and
varied than the concepts I had studied. After many years of practice I have
come to realize that not one answer is right for everyone. People need to be
understood as individuals, in the context of not only their biology, but
their intellectual, emotional and spiritual selves, as well. In
addition to a traditional family practice, I believe in a personalized and
integrative approach, which includes medical acupuncture, Western and Chinese
herbal medicine, homeopathic medicine, and integrative and allopathic
medicine. In my experience, I find that this all-inclusive approach benefits
the patient the most. To
